Criminal Record Bureau checks - Season 2008-09-10-11
From Season 2008-09, all leagues & clubs with youth teams must have appointed a named Welfare Officer, who has an 'accepted' or as a minimum an 'in progress' enhanced CRB check via the FA CRB Unit
From Season 2009-10, all leagues & clubs with youth teams must have appointed a named Welfare Officer, who has an 'accepted' CRB check via The FA CRB Unit and who has completed the FA Safeguarding Children workshop (formerly known as Child Protection & Best Practice Workshop).
From Season 2010-11, all leagues & clubs with youth teams must have a named Welfare Officer, who has an 'accepted' CRB check via The FA CRB Unit and who has completed The FA Safegurding Children & Welfare Officer Workshops.

PLEASE NOTE:
The League Administrator will normally be available during the day and his contact details are as at right.
E Mails are NOT always checked on a daily basis.

League Officers are not to be contacted by telephone AFTER 9pm.
LOOKING FOR A TEAM?
If you are seeking a team for your son or daughter look under;
League Tables - then the age group you require.
Select all or any League Table for your chosen age group and go to the FORMAT drop down box on the right.
Choose Contact Details for managers E Mail & telephone numbers.
Up to under 15 players birthday must be after 31st August 2008 to qualify for an age group.
To play in u7's a player must have reached his 6th birthday before 1st September 2008.
To play in u18 a player must have reached his 15th birthday before 1st September 2008
To play open age football a player must have reached his 16th birthday.
NOTICEBOARD
The noticeboard contains requests from managers & Club Secretaries for help & assistance and other points of interest to all clubs.
I cannot NOT consider requests for players unless a team is struggling with insufficient numbers.
This will NOT be a forum for moans & complaints which must be submitted to the League as normal procedure.

Tandridge Meetings & Courses
Title: New Club Secretaries & New Managers Night
Date/Time: Monday 1st September 2008
H.S.B.C. Sports & Social Club, Lennard Road, Beckenham, Kent at 8pm.
Details: This meeting is compulsory for all newcomers.

d) Understand about communication between League, clubs & teams
e) Registration of Players - know the difficulties & problems
f) Be guided on fixture & result notification procedure
g) Get to know abouth Match Cards

i) What is the difference between panel referees & club referees? Learn about appointments, fees & complaints.
j) Find out how to mark the referee and when you can go on a referee course.
k) Know what to do when you encounter a discipline problem.
l) Learn about Tandridge League F.A.Level 1 Coaching Courses
m) Child Protection Workshops & Club Welfare Officers.

Details: League Clubs Meeting of the Tandridge Youth Football League
Note that due to changes to League Rule 4F & 'Standing Orders' relating to Meetings being reduced in number ALL clubs will be required to have representation.
A delegate will only be allowed to sign in for their OWN club.
Delegates must be present when the meeting commences.
Delegates will be required to stay to the end of the meeting.

Title: Tandridge League Coaching Courses 2008
Date/Time: 20th to 27th July 2008
COURSE NOW FULL WITH TWO(2)RESERVES
Details: The Tandridge Youth League in conjunction with the London F.A. will be running one more F.A. Level 1 Coaching Course's commencing Sunday 20th July 2008 at the HSBC Sports & Social Club, Beckenham
Total of 18 places on the course.
Cost £90 - £30 to be refunded on production of your certificate on completion
F.A. Level 2 Coaching Course will commence on Thursday 10th July 2008.
16 Places on the course - cost £300 - NOW FULL WITH ONE APPLICANT ON STANDBY
This is the 'next step up' and far more intensive than the FA Level 1 Course.
